Developmental and Intellectual Disability Services in Salem, OR
Supporting People with ID/DD across Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties
Our Salem office serves individuals and families throughout Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties, providing developmental disability services and disability support services that help people build independence, strengthen life skills, and participate fully in their communities. From Salem and Keizer to Dallas, McMinnville, Monmouth, Woodburn, Newberg, and surrounding communities, our team supports individuals across Oregon’s Capital Region with person-centered services designed around each individual’s goals and needs.
As the state’s capital and one of Oregon’s largest metropolitan areas, the Salem region offers a wide variety of opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Access to employers, community organizations, educational resources, recreational activities, and social opportunities can create meaningful pathways toward greater independence. Our role is helping individuals identify those opportunities and develop the skills and supports needed to pursue them successfully.
Because our Salem office serves three counties, every individual’s experience looks different. Someone living in downtown Salem may have different goals and opportunities than someone living in Yamhill County wine country or a rural community in Polk County. We recognize those differences and work closely with individuals and families to create supports that fit their local community, personal interests, and long-term goals.
Many of the individuals and families we support first connect with us through county developmental disabilities programs, brokerages, case managers, and support coordinators. Others reach out directly while researching developmental disability services in Marion, Polk, or Yamhill County. Whether you’re exploring services for the first time or looking for a developmental disability provider that aligns with your goals, our team is available to answer questions and help you understand your options.
